about me

i'm finally home after 6 weeks! (:

when i was there, i felt like coming home. when i'm home, i feel like going back there. well, i expected this.

my luggage was a little overweight but they didn't really care since the plane wasn't full anyway. thank goodness (: i should have bought more things then!! arghs. i want more faceshop and skinfood.

the korean baggage check officer stopped me coz the xray showed "weird objects" in my hand carry -_-" they opened my pencil case, cosmetic bag and stuffs to check. end up they couldn't find anything haha. freaked the hell outta me. apparently the "weird stuff" was the souvenir PNU gave us. a heavy, metallic pencil holder with a clock embedded in it.

korean air isn't good ): there wasn't any entertainment! no movies to watch ): i practically rotted the whole 6 hours on the plane.

my photos are also all over the place! waiting for peeps to tag me. i was actually quite lazy to take photos so i don't have many of them with me :x hahaha. all my seoul photos are on facebook. my pusan photos are.. i don't know, everywhere :p should i upload them on facebook too?

let me try to recall where i had been in seoul!

18 July : Hongik Street (area near our guesthouse. a fashion street!)

19 July : Insadong (shopping for some traditional souvenirs)

20 July : Itaewon (nothing much there), Folk Museum, Seoul Tower (cable car up to the lovers' locks place)

21 July : Korea National Museum, 63 Building (where "My Girl" was filmed)

22 July : Gyeongbokgung (a palace), Kyobo Book Store

23 July : Fake Coffee Prince (very nice layout, too bad it was fake), SM Entertainment (company which idols like Super Junior, TVXQ, etc belong!), Timeout Gelato (ice cream shop opened by Mickey Yoochun of TVXQ), Rodeo Street (some atas place)

24 July : Myeongdong (for abalone porridge and shopping), watched "JUMP!"

25 July : Gangnam (wanted to go to the day park but realised it was too far so we went shopping instead), Han River Cruise (fabulous night scenery)

26 July : Bupyeong (huge place to shop, but didn't buy much)

27 July : Lotte World (a must-go place in seoul. tried on some rides that i didn't dare to try in the past), Lotte Hotel (where the kissing scene by the stairs of "My Girl" was filmed!)

28 July : Dongdaemun (over-rated place with over-priced stuffs ): a great disappointment), Ewha Women's University shopping area (another fashion street!)

29 July : Real Coffee Prince (where the drama, "Coffee Prince" was filmed), Hongik Street (again!)

30 July : Home Sweet Home

i want to complain about the real coffee prince cafe!!

1) we took some photos of the cafe before we went in, but we were stopped by the staff and he said no photography allowed. like what the hell? how can that be.

2) the staff was pulling a long face as though we all owed him money. totally turned us off. we saw that other people were also taking photos but he didn't even tell them off.

3) i was forced to order coffee like HUHHH. he said everyone had to order. so i forked out the money i reserved for taking bus to the airport to drink that coffee which cost ard S$8. i was that poor then ): in the end it wasn't very nice and the serving was half of starbucks. dammit.

4) we had to PAY ON THE SPOT. what logic! did we look that poor that money had to be collected from us right after we order?! no bill no nothing. total rubbish.

5) we weren't served plain water O_O gosh. every cafe we went served us plain water. this one, we had to pour ourselves and self-service. kns!

what a disappointment ): hey, don't think the cafe is famous so can bully customers okay. hmph. the worst cafe i had been over the past 6 weeks. pui!





p.s. hey weichao, happy belated birthday! (: hadn't had time to wish u happy birthday hahaha but i remembered loh! :p sorry eh! hope u spent your birthday well! (:
